All members receive the PGS monthly publication, NUGGETS FROM PARADISE, which gives hints and a helping hand to the beginner as well as the advanced genealogist. It includes a calendar of upcoming events including seminars, our monthly regular meetings, and special interest group meetings. Members also receive the annual GENEALOGICAL GOLDMINE (issued in Fall of each year, eff. 1/1/2001) featuring local family histories; local source records; various Butte County vital records and queries for members. Non-members may also submit queries for $1.50 per query, or $5.00 if an issue with the printed copy is desired. Queries MUST be received by September 1st and should be limited to 75 words or less.
