The Society maintains a library unique in that it is not subsidized by church or tax funds and is not housed in a church or tax supported public building. Members have check out priviledges and the facilities are available to the public at no charge.

Library patrons have access to more than 2,750 printed volumes, more than 270 CD titles, and over 480 periodical titles of genealogical interest; microfilm/fiche records; computerized files and resources; audio/video helps; the Florence Styles Collection of files and record resources of California, particularly Butte County, from this noted historian.
